When Is White Right?

It’s that time of year when we receive the emails about wearing white after Labor Day. White is now worn all year long, make sure the fabric is appropriate. As an example, yes to white jeans, sweaters, button down-blouses, leather, wool pants, double-faced knit dresses. No to linen, eyelet and sundresses. In reality, many of us now are now trying to pull off seasonless looks and it does work, but it takes practice. As an example, you don’t want to wear a sleeveless white knit dress, but you could add a sweater or blouse under the dress and pair with brown boots, belt and this season’s chunky jewelry. Enjoy the crisp air!
