Emmy Disappointments

We think the gowns and outfits at this year’s Emmy’s are better than ever. But we are mourning the death of the good old days when actresses dressed themselves. The mistakes, bad judgment and the hits are memorable and made the red carpet more entertaining. Remember Sharon Stone pairing a Gap tee shirt with a designer ball gown? Or Bjork wearing a dead swan around her neck? Or Geena Davis wearing those huge satin and taffeta creations. What about Lara Flynn Boyle’s famous tutu? Oh, well. Today everyone has a stylist. They’re even thanked on the red carpet.
