Style Matters found this interesting little fashion tidbit hidden inside Time Magazines Style & Design men’s supplement, Oct. 2008, page 14.  “I used to be hip. I can’t be hip anymore.  I’m running for president.”  Senator Obama, after refusing to wear hip-hop influenced clothing for a photo shoot.

 Excuse us?  Are you trying to be something you’re not, Sen. Obama?  Why won’t you wear hip-hop clothing if that’s what you like?
