Style Matters goes to Celebrity Mother/Daughter Fashion Show
October 15th, 2008
Wednesday found Judie all gussied up and at Saks Fifth Avenue for the Key to the Cure Fashion show. The event benefits Denver Health Foundation, which provides over $270 million in free care to one out of every four Denver residents. The single largest group of patients served is women over the age of 18. Look how pretty the tables looked. That’s Colorado’s First Lady Jeannie Ritter with pediatrician Halee Fischer-Wright.
It was a who’s who of Denver socialites with a scattering of bold name men like Peter Coors, who came to watch his wife, Marilyn, and daughters Ashley and Christi strut their stuff on the catwalk. The clothes from Saks were to die for, although it was odd that not a single designer was identified. Emcee, KOSI Princess Denise Plante kept the crowd entertained especially when she tried to pounce on some of the male models! Go Nisie!
Fashion trends: Black high boots, floral prints as worn by Marilyn Coors, winter white suits as worn by former Colorado First Lady Dottie Lamm, and classic black pants suits. Accessories: Faux pearls and big necklaces.
Catty Corner -Lots of collagened lips, now almost as common as Denver’s mountains.
